Meet Poppy Key, an abstract artist from Bayside, Melbourne, whose vibrant works are infused with passion, joy, and a love for creativity.

Originally from London, Poppy's artistic journey began as a child, wandering the halls of the Tate Gallery with her art teacher mother and obsessively collecting postcards of modern art icons like Rothko, Picasso, Pollock, and Matisse. Her fascination with color and abstraction blossomed into a lifelong passion.

After earning a degree in History of Art & Design, Poppy worked in the heart of London’s art scene. However, it wasn’t until the lockdowns of 2020 that she fully embraced her calling as an artist. Starting at her kitchen table, painting became her escape—a meditative process that allowed her to tune into her heart and creativity.

Now, painting has become an essential part of her life. Poppy’s work is fueled by music, movement, and an intuitive process that brings her deep joy. Through her art, she aims to spark emotion, bring happiness, and fill her collectors’ homes with beauty and color.
